That Swedish mental case of a producer has come up with another piece of electro chaos. Check out Owl Vision’s sinsiter new single.

Two of my favourite Swedish singers (Soso and Elliphant) team up to feature in Style of Eye’s new work.

Dornik is rapidly becoming of one of my favourite kids from 2013. With this only being his second track, I wonder where he will end up this time next year.
BBC Sound of 2014 longlist released!

I wait all year to see this list get published. Only because it’s interesting to see how many people have already been featured on here.
The BBC Sound of 2014 is often a predictor of what music acts will launch big in over the next twelve months, and has featured the likes of Adele, Jessie J and 50 cent.
This year’s mix is a lot better than last year’s in my opinion, and is definitely more pop-orientated than previous ‘Sounds of’. Here’s the full list:
- Banks – first featured February 2013
- Chance The Rapper
- Ella Eyre – first featured April 2013
- George Ezra – first featured December 2012
- FKA Twigs
- Chloe Howl – first featured December 2012
- Jungle – first featured September 2013
- Kelela – first featured October 2013
- MNEK – first featured May 2010 (also check out the interview)
- Nick Mulvey – first featured May 2013
- Royal Blood
- Sampha
- Say Lou Lou – first featured May 2012 (as Saint Lou Lou)
- Luke Sital-Singh – first featured July 2012
- Sam Smith – first featured January 2013
The top 5 will be revealed daily starting 6th January 6th 2014, with the winner crowned on the 10th. I’m not putting any guesses on who will win this time round though!
Listen: CEO ‘Whorehouse’
Only Swedish pop can get away with having a song titled ‘Whorehouse’ sounding utterly adorable. On a serious note, I’m so happy to see CEO back on the scene again.
Listen: Aiden ‘Better Man’
No week can start well without an Aiden track. Momentum grows with every track he releases at the moment. Which is good.
First Listen: Banoffee ‘Reign Down’
Cool new indie from Banoffee.
First Listen: Johan Klingwall ‘Långt Hem’
Johan Klingwall’s back with another Swedish slice of pop.
First Listen: Leanne Robinson ‘Not Your Love’
A punchy new RnB pop track from Leanne Robinson.
First Listen: Röyksopp ‘Something In My Heart’
I have so many memories attached to Röyksopp songs. Some happy, but mostly sad (which is a little beautiful in a way). This is the dreamy b-side to their new single ‘Running To The Sea’ out December 16th, and features Jamie Irrepressible.
First Listen: Saint Raymond ‘Young Blood’
Back with another catchy bit of pop from Saint Raymond. He’s supporting Haim on their European and UK tour later this month.
First Listen: Little Jinder ‘Shh’
Cute Swedish electropop track from Little Jinder.
First Listen: Aiden ‘Fire & Ice’
Another week, another ridiculously cool and equally quirky Aiden track unsurfaces. The new EP is out November 26th andwritten by Aiden and Dimitri Tikovoi (Nicola Roberts, Charlie XCX, Mikky Ekko, Goldfrapp, The Horrors, Bebe Black and Paloma Faith).
First Listen: Fou De Toi ‘Fall Out’
How fast has this weekend gone? Yikes… Sweden’s Fou De Toi are back with their trademark cute indie.

New track from the Dutch crooner. It’s taken from ‘The Addict’ EP which is out now on Deram/Universal Records.

A new slice of indie soul from Charlotte OC. Monday November 25th sees the release of Charlotte’s E.P via Stranger, which includes the track ‘Hangover’.
First Listen: Adian Coker ‘Young World’ Mixtape
Adian Coker’s been one of the standout British hip hop acts for me this year.
