“The song is about how life is chaos, there is no divine plan, and how that’s actually pretty beautiful. I used to wish I believed in god sometimes when I was a kid, I remember thinking how much easier it would make things if I did, it just always felt like such a cop out to me. I don’t know what happens to us after we die, but I’m pretty sure there are no pearly gates.”
New Music: Gracie Abrams

Track of the week. Heartbreaking and delicate vocals with a melody that’s so pensive yet simple.

“Face to Face’ was one of the first songs I wrote for the new album, and is about facing up to those awful feelings you experience after the shock of death. Although it’s got some pretty sad lyrics in it, it’s a hopeful song – ‘I’m not gonna stop’ and ‘now I’m starting a new life, new hope’ are ultimately looking to the future, away from the grief.”
