Valley have already amassed 23 million streams from just five singles and are rapidly emerging as one of Canada’s most exciting purveyors of indie pop. This release is so damn infectious, you’re guaranteed to feel good after a listen.

The most delightful French tropical disco I think I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Australian power-pop that masterfully balances pulsating synth beats with retro influences.

A triumphant return for Raleigh Ritchie. Gorgeous textures on this RnB release with some very captivating lyrics.
“British history is complicated, especially as a POC. And history is everything, it’s what we learn from to help us build our future. In school I didn’t learn much about British history aside from the country’s victories and a version of some of it’s atrocities. Sometimes it’s a confusing place, and although I love my country, I don’t always feel loved by it. With this video I wanted to explore this and my relationship to my own history and the history of those who came before me.”
Raleigh’s upcoming project, ‘Andy’ is released later this summer.

A really exciting singer songwriter talent from the UK here. This is a finely written ballad, brimming with emotion and fully relatable lyrics.
“Miscommunication can often lead to confusion. This song is a take on how two people in love are on the brink of breaking down as a result of not doing something that seems so simple to most, talking. This story represents the moment of realisation when one pleads with the other to speak about the troubles they both face or risk letting what they have built go to ruin.”

A slick fusion of alternative pop and soul from this London-based singer songwriter. The chorus on this track is quite beautiful.
“Most of us have found ourselves in a complicated relationship, right? With this one I fell into a trap where the complications and toxic encounters we faced created lows so low, that normality and the highlights we shared felt like of some sort rush. It’s hard to get out of that cycle. I don’t know why it just is. When we called it a day I think both us struggled with a sense of feeling homesick. That’s how Homesick came about.”

“Biggest Fan” was one of the first songs that I ever wrote. I wrote it back when I was 15 years old and very much at the age of when you’re riding the wave of naivety, at the height of your fantasy and romanticism for new experiences and young love…basically the eclipse of the age of innocence.”

“Time is the most valuable thing we have, don’t waste it on someone who doesn’t deserve it.”

“‘not ok’ is a song we wrote from the perspective of wanting to escape from a moment because you’re feeling too bad to actually be in the present. The song is almost trippy. It’s like being in another dimension. Sometimes when things are rough and I need to escape my thoughts, I do anything I can to get to that other place in my mind, no matter how strange it is, to escape my own mind.”

You may recognise this piece from the TV show ‘Normal People‘, which has gotten a lot of the UK talking right now.
The song itself is a gorgeous blend of ambient and downtempo electronica styles, reminiscent in a way of 90’s trip hop.
Debut EP ‘LUMEN’ is out on 8th May via Paragon.
