SWAYDAY – Thank You

It is almost impossible not to feel good listening to SWAYDAY’s new release. Swedish pop at its most infectious.

BETSIE GØLD – Friday the 13th

Because pop music is a wonderful thing, the story goes that this song evolved from a cactus falling from a shelf directly onto the producer’s face, on a Friday the 13th. The track summarises Betsie Gold’s thoughts…

“Even when I’m in a great place I always assume something is going to go wrong, instead of just enjoying the moment. The song pretty much wrote itself as it’s a true representation of my mindset and track record… I guess I’m an optimistic pessimist.”

New Music: ELIAZ

A beautifully dark pop sound from a new artist based out of Nashville, TN and hailing from Cape Town in South Africa.

“I spent the beginning of 2019 coming to terms with the fact that the guy I was infatuated with didn’t feel the same way. I wrote this song thinking no one would hear it so I put all those emotions into it. It was a cathartic, honest experience that helped me flush out all that I was feeling. It allowed me to process and ultimately, mourn the loss of a potential love.”

Victoria Monét – Dive

“Women are an adventure. We are as powerful as oceans, as beneficial as h20 and as fun as any theme park. Anyone lucky enough to taste that thrill should go all in. Dive playfully invites one to do so. It emphasises the importance of women getting our pleasure through oral sex. It’s not talked about enough from our perspective and I wanted to break the ice. They say most humans are about 60% water, but I believe women must be 69% so dive in baby.”

Jack Garratt – Better

Quite a shift in style for Jack Garratt, but I’m here for it. I can’t figure what genre it is anymore; it’s just it’s own eclectic blend of introspective fun.

The new album, ‘Love, Death & Dancing’ will be released on June 12th on Island Records.

Farrah – ID

“ID was written about feeling like you’ll never be quite enough for someone or something you think you desire, whether that be a person, group of people or career
path.”

Tate McRae – you broke me first

“”you broke me first” is a really special song to me. This song is about someone in a relationship who couldn’t care less for the other person and then six months later decides to crawl back. It’s the feeling of knowing how much they meant to you, but this time not letting them back in. I hope everyone can connect to this song like I do.”
