I feel 11 years old again when I hear this new throwback from Elliphant. This is definitely her most radio-friendly song yet.

Nadia Nair – The Bon Voyage EP
I’ve featured Nadia Nair a fair few times on here. She’s from the same team that looks after Miriam Bryant; who’s turned into Sweden’s biggest new artist.
There’s no hiding from the fact that Nadia Nair has one of the biggest voices to come out of Sweden, and her tracks really push the pop boundary- they’re raw, hard and atmospheric as hell.
Check out an interview I did with the lady right here.
New Music: TRGL
Swedish pop. Check out here.
New Music: Tommy Fredvang
Norwegian electropop. It’s sung in Norwegian but it’s still a pretty good pop sound. Check out here.
First Listen: The Lonely Island feat Robyn ‘Go Kindergarten’
I hate this. Until Robyn kicks in.
Then I love it.
Then she stops and I don’t like it any more. It’s a big tune from The Lonely Island though.
New Music: Linus Svenning
So, this is a very special post. Linus Svenning was unknown to me right up until a friend near forced me to watch his videos while I was in Sweden last week. I’ve never seen, or heard anything quite like this.
There’s a ton of videos over on his YouTube and they’re all amazing (some have hit 200k views). Chances are this kid won’t stay singing in the dark for much longer… Check out here.
New Music: Meow

Track of the week. Soft electro pop sound from a Norwegian/ British duo that also blends in bits of trip hop. This is so nice. Check out here.
New Music: Moa Michaeli
Yuksek feat. Oh Land – Last of Our Kinds
Ane Brun covers ‘Feeling Good’
The broody Scandinavian songstress has made a haunting version of ‘Feeling Good’. Lovely.
New Music: Kids On The Run
Swedish folk pop. Check out here.
New Music: Johan Klingwall
This makes me smile, although I don’t really know why. It’s happy and uplifting to listen to. I don’t really understand the lyrics, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it. Check out here.
New Music: Ásgeir Trausti
I haven’t featured any Icelandic music in some time. I’m a fan of this- it’s a fusion of funk and pop and electro but doesn’t go overboard on the effects. It borders on being sexy. And that’s cool. Check out here.
New Music: Tôg
New Music: Masquer
Swedish electropop. This one happens to be a cover of a Destiny’s Child classic. Cool! Check out here.
First Watch: Lune ‘Leave The World Behind’
One of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard all week from Lune. Nearly half a million views for this- it’s so nice to see.
New Music: The Royalties Sthlm
First Listen: Ms. Henrik ‘Mark’
New one from one of the more interesting talents to have emerged from Sweden this year. It’s also a free download which is nice.
New Music: Manda
New Music: Everywhere
Post-pop indie from Stockholm. Check out here.
