French disco seems to be one of those styles of music that everyone has a love for, so it’s always a happy day at Alfitude HQ when we get to share new sounds from the genre.

Producer duo Abc Dialect originate from the cities of London and Buenos Aires, but create work from their own bespoke studio in Barcelona.

Finessed new single ‘Our Love’ features some impressive talent – including Jamiroquai’s Derrick Mckenzie on drum duty and Breakbot’s Delafleur on vocals.

Melodic, dreamy and nostalgic in tone, the song may well guarantee Abc Dialect as one of your new disco favourites.

Always a sliver lining at the end of a shitty week! Jamroquai came on my doorstep and gave me a massive smile. It’s sad that you’re into someone that much but it has been yonks since he last released anything. The artwork is sexy as fuck (albeit a paper case, which always makes me feel like an album is in ‘transition’ rather than ‘here to stay’). Going to upload it on iTunes and hit the gym!

He does the best album covers, don’t you think? Apparently the photo above was taken at the Hard Rock Calling festival that was in London earlier this month (which I was at, so maybe my head will be in there somewhere!). The deluxe edition is in the post right now… Super excited! I really hope I win tickets to his gig at Jazz Cafe next month. That would be the best thing ever!

Live: Jamiroquai at Club Debut, London

Words cannot describe how amazing this gig was. I don’t think anything will top what I witnessed last night at Club Debut. This was a warm-up gig for Jamiroquai’s appearance at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park on Saturday. The bass on ‘Little L’ is just out of this world! Rock Dust Light Star is a new track from their upcoming album- hear a snippet of new single ‘White Knuckle Ride here.

Jamiroquai London tickets go on sale this afternoon: get ready!

Tickets for an intimiate gig in London with Jamiroquai on the 24th of this month (next Thursday) go on sale TODAY (15th) at noon on his website. It’s in a tiny venue in London Bridge and something like 1000 people ‘liked’ his Facebook status when he announced the gig last week so good luck getting tickets! If you don’t manage to get tickets then you can still catch him next Sunday at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park with Stevie Wonder. UPDATE: I’ve uploaded some really good videos from this gig here!
