There’s not a lot I can say about this track other than it being an absolutely massive pop banger from Norway. Infectiously fun.

Atlas Knox are a mysterious producing and writing outfit who have worked on hits with Stormzy, Not3s, Chaka Khan, Jax Jones, Duke Dumont and Florence and The Machine to name a few.
We won’t know who they really are, since their focus is on the music. And it’s great; this collaboration with Swedish starlet Lune is a fantastic pop release.

Some songs you press play to, and immediately know that you’ll love. This is one of those moments. Swedish talent ruus is a singer songwriter who works closely with producer DIMD to create an eclectic and alternative edge to pop.
“Sometimes you hang out with people you don’t necessarily like, but because you don’t want to create a bad mood in the group, you smile and are polite. But sometimes you have to wake up and change the situation to feel good about yourself. Stop pretending some days.”

Raised in the world-famous hippie, self-declared autonomous region of Christiania in Copenhagen, Louis Jarto creates a larger-than-life Danish synth pop sound with a sense of playfulness.
There’s hints of early Daft Punk on this track, and generally just a perfect vibe for the summer.

A trans-atlantic effort went into the making of these visuals for Danish RnB starlet Fjer’s ‘First Place’.
“I decided to make this video with my friend James Tirado across the Atlantic, during the COVID-19 quarantine. I filmed in my apartment, he filmed in his. We edited it together. I wanted to show the modern day version of a conflict – karma sure is a bitch in this one haha.”

I’ve always sensed something special about Swedish soul-pop dup lennix; and this release has really finally gained the momentum they rightfully deserve. This track is a slice of audio heaven.

Some of the catchiest EDM pop you’ll likely hear this week, courtesy of the 21-year old Dutch DJ & producer Anthony Dircson, and vocals from Swedish mega talent ISA.
“‘Know Me Better’ is about after a break up when your ex still is keeping you on a leash, letting you close when they feel like it, and abandoning you the other day. You’ve come to a point where it doesn’t matter what lies this person throws at you. You know you deserve better and that you’ll be fine on your own.”

This is one Danish talent to watch out for. A perfected blend of RnB and pop, served in the most charming and endearing way you could imagine.

This track was written by dark-pop duo Palace Winter together through a long distance correspondence between Tenerife and Denmark.

While lockdown has hampered with all of our summer plans this year, hearing releases like this by Swedish outfit Violet Days make things feel a little better.

I’ve featured Örnsberg a couple of times on here through the years. The Swedish talent has created a deliciously mellow electro-pop sound with a sexy vibe on this release.
