I’ve been listening to this for the last couple of weeks and it’s one of my favourite songs on my iTouch right now. Do I understand it? Not completely. But who cares… good songs are good.
First Watch: Jon Ink ‘Every Little Inch’
Previously featured on here a few weeks ago, Swedish Jon Ink is back with a new video. It’s crazy catchy- this kid really needs a big record deal! He’s also acting as a guestjudge in Webjokern, the swedish eurovision song contest 2012.

I can’t stop listening to this. Beautifully minimal and uplifting electropop from this Swedish duo. They seem to have been around for a really long time and I won’t be surprised if this song takes them to a bigger audience. Check out here.

This is currently number 1 on the Swedish iTunes charts, ahead of Coldplay (who seem to be number 1 pretty much anywhere). It doesn’t sound like a hit, but there’s something quietly epic about it. Interesting. Find out more about Deportees here.
Swedish pop gets serious and randy
Peter Jöback is a bit of a star in Sweden. I guess he’s the Swedish Darren Hayes or something. I’ve known of him for a few years now and while he isn’t my cup of tea I do like this song, and the video is a bit over the top which is always a good thing for me.

This is really good electro rap from the Swedish institution that is Adam Tensta. He’s not really made impact outside of Sweden but Im pretty sure this will make a dent in the UK… Check out here.
New Music: Andreas Moe
Andrea Moe has already covered vocals from Aviciis infamous summer hit ‘Fade into darkness’. Now this promising Swedish singer is going solo, and it sounds like a super polished Erik Hassle sound with some deep emotion. Check out here.
Some shocking Swedish electro pop
You might get in trouble if you watch this video at work, or are not a fan of watching topless Swedish men getting tortured. But the song is amazing, and I think the video works really well. Check out more here.

Born in Sweden, raised in the US and now back in Stockholm, Elodie is your typical electro-pop. I still think there’s a long way to go before this sound gets to be perfect but it’s still good. Check out here.
Grenades for the Wall release new EP
Cute up and coming Swedish band Grenades for the Wall have released a new EP, ‘7’. There’s a couple of preview tracks above. I previously mentioned them earlier this year. It was self released, written and produced by the band themselves with the cover painted by Casey Wilson.
I’ve had a listen to it and I have to say, it’s pretty awesome- a really good set of tracks for a duo to create from scratch. I can’t wait to see where they lead to in 2012. Anyway, find out more about these guys and get the EP here.
New Music: Johan Reinhold
I actually really like this- it sounds very different to a lot of the music I get sent, which makes it refreshing and new. And on top of that, it’s a very slick production. That’s because Johan Reinhold is a Swedish Grammy nominated indie electro-pop singer/songwriter who has just released this song, “Shoot Me Down” which was created by some of Sweden’s most prominent producers and engineers like Astma & Rocwell and the Lasse Mortén (who produced Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn & John, and Primal Scream). First Listen: Tove Styrke ‘Call My Name’
This has been huge in her native Sweden, and it’s a bit weird for me why she’s still only getting an underground buzz over here in the UK. But then again Robyn took a really long time before she blew here, so I hope the same kicks for Tove Styrke. Cos she’s frickin’ good.
