I haven’t blogged about any J-Pop for a while…
… so here’s some Perfume. I really should start doing some more JPop and KPop stuff. I just don’t have the time. Anyone want to take the role on?
New Music: Synthcake
I haven’t heard anything like this before, so I don’t really know how to describe it. I guess it’s playful and indulgent pop. Actually, it sounds a bit like some album tracks from early Jamiroquai records. Check out here.
First Watch: Ruby Goe ‘Badman’
I can’t get enough of Ruby Goe- single by single she seems to be getting better and better. This is the video for new single, ‘Badman’. Sexy.

Probably track of the week- this is Bearcat and she makes some really good soul. It made me sad a little though, as it sent me back to memories of hearing Amy Winehouse for the first times. Anyway, check her out. Please. She’s great. Check out here.
First Watch: Smith & Thell ‘Kill It With Love’
Three months ago I featured this super cute Swedish electro duo and now the video to their brilliant single, ‘Kill It With Love’ is out.

New Music: Alf Tumble & Halina Larsson
I smiled when I heard this, because I wasn’t expecting it to sound as good as it does. ‘The Right Words’ is the product of a collaboration between Brooklyn based, Swedish singer Halina Larsson and Stockholm based producer / DJ Alf Tumble. Check out here.
