Lenii – Cereal

One thing to expect form this talent is the brutal pop that gets served. A punchy, playful and totally unapologetic release from Lenii.

“I thought about how, in my experience, when guys hit on girls the line ‘I have a boyfriend’ is always more concrete than ‘Iʼm not interested’ and the idea is that youʼre not unavailable enough until you ‘belongʼ to someone else. Which is just dumb.”

New Music: ELIS NOA

“”Still Nothing (Goddamn)” is about self-worth, about being frank with yourself and asking others to do the same. What do you wish for? What are you hiding? Inner power can only arise when we recognise, accept and express our wishes and facets. Only then we can be free.”

Jayde – Electricity

“Electricity” was born out of a heatwave, broken by a rainstorm like I had never seen before. I developed the song with my producer in Montreal, playing around on an old upright piano. At the time, I was going through a phase in my relationship that I wasn’t entirely conscious of. My subconscious took over my lyric writing and the words poured out of me. “Electricity” was the conduit to writing about my internalised emotions, which I could feel the weight of.

New Music: Meg Smith

“Over the past year, I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the “cool girl” narrative; the idea that girls should hide their true feelings in fear of seeming clingy or dramatic. I wrote this song to express the joy, pain and confusion I felt while pushing down how I really felt about someone. All I wanted was to be cool, when, in reality, I felt anything but.”

Marie Dahlstrøm – Home With You

“I wanted to write about flaws in a kind and positive way. I wanted to hone in on what makes us who we are. The absence of something in a person’s life, makes room for the presence of something else. ‘Home With You’ is a song about celebrating honesty and compassion in love, even if it isn’t always easy.”

Estherlivia – Limbo

One of the brightest new Swedish exports. A dark pop sound with a unique lyrical take on something we have all experienced.

“When you become aware that you have ended up in some kind of limbo land. Maybe you got there to turn off your thoughts when everything became too much around you..? Although it can be nice for a while, you don’t want the days to just pass and lose track of yourself and your goals.”
