Ane Brun – Honey

What would your future self tell you? The Norwegian legend returns with a beautifully introspective piece of indie pop.
New Music: HoddoxX
Lokoy – classic city girl

Two minutes of escapism through this playful Norwegian indie pop that feels bonkers but raw at the same time.
Benjamin Ingrosso – Shampoo

Benjamin Ingrosso’s new release is kitsch defined – it’s very retro and cheesy, but I think the world needs some of that right now.
”Musically, ‘Shampoo’ is inspired by old cuban 70’s music, and is very playful, organic and based on feeling! It’s about how you’re preparing for an upcoming date, but you’re just standing in the shower, thinking about all the things you have to do but you never get to it…”
ohFrank – Millennial

The fun Anglo-Swede duo return today with another slice of playful pop. This time we are treated to a fun and introspective take on being a millennial.
“‘Millennial’ is a sarcastic, yet honest self-portrait of our generation. We sing about nostalgic memories, which are relevant to so many, like old mobile phones and TV channels like Vh1 and MTV. And we want people to dance to it! It has been said many times that my generation is privileged and self-centered. ohFrank embraces that wholeheartedly!”

Efraim Leo – One Of Them Girls

Swedish pop newcomer Efraim Leo is back with another dance-pop track that’s catchy as hell and perfect for the summer.
“She’s one of them girls that everyone wants to be with. Ultimately, she will break my heart.”
New Music: Ramverk

Ramverk comprises of Swedes Hugo Therkelson and Alex Maksic, two former professional dancers who met in their youth as students at The Royal Swedish Ballet School. With that in mind, this is a richly atmospheric and textured sound that feels almost more like a creative statement piece than indie-electro.
“Dance and music are two separate forces that both claim their space. It’s always interesting to see how the two worlds connect and getting it just right isn’t always easy.”
New Music: Likeable Lars

Blending so many genres together into a single song shouldn’t work, but somehow this Norwegian duo have managed to create something really special here. A melodic fusion of soul, RnB, bass and pop.
“This single is about being stuck, lost and confused, and wanting to have some sort of medicine to heal.”
Watch: Scarlet Pleasure – SOS

“The recent weeks and months of 2020, made us think about marginalised communities and people who are deprived of not having access to the simpler things in life that we all take for granted. We wanted the video for ’SOS’ to take us all to this place of simplicity and happiness”.
First drop of new album ‘Garden’ is set for release on June 19, 2020 on Copenhagen Records.

Watch: Maximillian – Beautiful Scars

There was zero doubt in my mind that this Danish talent was going to be huge, and it’s so great to see it come to reality; he’s recently hit 12 millions streams on Spotify with ‘Beautiful Scars’.
“I hung out with the wrong people and did a lot of things I regret. I literally lived my life on the edge at the age of 13 and ‘Beautiful Scars’ is me learning to deal and live with my flaws.”
New Music: Chris Samuels

Singer songwriter Chris Samuels is a 22-year old, Stockholm-based Swedish-American talent who is a recent Rytmus graduate (a globally renowned Swedish music school that is responsible for talents like Tove Lo and Icona Pop). Added to that, he is also a producer and multi-instrumentalist.
The sound itself is a finely balanced blend of acoustic, blues, brass and subtle indie tones. On the other side though, we also experience a mellow, yet experimental and glitchy production on ‘Separation Anxiety (Interlude)’.

Olivera – Tomorrows
New Music: Marshall Cecil

You hear a band every so often and you can tell from the start that there’s something extra special about their energy. That’s the sense I get with this Danish indie pop outfit. It’s hard to describe how I feel when I hear this song, it’s just a very unique experience.
Emilie Nicolas – Oh Love

Track of the week. Words couldn’t comprehend the emotions that ran through me when I first played this song from Norwegian talent Emilie Nicolas. It’s a haunting, heartbreaking piece with elements of soul and bluegrass, all combined together to create something truly beautiful.
Taken from the album ‘Let Her Breathe’.
New Music: NUJA

Chilled Norwegian pop, comprising of vocalist and songwriter Mirjam Omdal and producer Magnus ‘Magnify’ Martinsen. If enjoy their sound then you’ll be pleased to know that they plan on releasing two EP’s this year, with the theme for both being mental health.
“Mess is about the story of how a person’s thoughts and feelings after being abused can affect their life”.
Taken from the first EP ‘Close’ which will be released on June 12th.
